In the short run, it could seem easier to stay in a bad relationship than to face the pain of separation. On the other hand, individuals often leave potentially good relationships that could most likely be saved and thrive in the long run, rather than face painful, yet short-term, relationship issues.
“Coming to Terms with Your Parents” teaches the listener how to develop a relationship with their parents as an adult. Dr. DiGiuseppe first addresses the common problems with the parent-child relationship from the perspective of language. Parents always refer to their children, even an adult offspring, as children.
Interactive CD Rom, the Spanish edition of “Managing Your Emotions,” shows the ABC model of behavior management.
